Environment Agency licensed waste carrier for Nelson shops
Nelson
When people need rubbish gone quickly and want to know where it ends up, Apollo is the waste collection Nelson households and businesses turn to. Household clutter, green waste, unwanted furniture, office contents and building rubble are all collected from addresses across Nelson. You agree a fixed price before we load, we take everything to a licensed transfer station where around 95% is recycled or recovered, and a waste transfer note follows. Prices begin at £65 for a Mini Load.
Every town has its own mix of streets and buildings, and Nelson is no exception. Maisonettes with narrow stairs, garages at the end of a lane and units on industrial estates are all part of a normal week for us. Since we are in Nelson every week, we can plan around the access and give you a price that does not change on the day.

Van or skip for Nelson residents: compared
A skip is often the first thing people in Nelson think of, but it pays to compare. A skip means days of lost parking, possible permit paperwork and doing all the filling yourself. Our man and van collections are simpler. We turn up in an agreed slot, load it all, sweep up and leave, charging only for the space your rubbish fills.
For one sofa, a loft clearout, a garden tidy or a few bags of rubble, a collection is usually quicker and often cheaper once permit and hire costs are added up. For builders, our construction waste disposal Nelson service collects rubble and offcuts between trades and keeps the site clear. For waste building up over weeks, a skip can work out better, and we will say so honestly.

Fly tipping costs councils across Lancashire dearly, and they actively pursue it. What often goes unnoticed is that if your rubbish is found fly tipped and linked to you, you can be issued a fixed penalty of up to £600 even if a so called collector dumped it. That is the difference between cheap rubbish removal Nelson residents come to regret and cheap rubbish removal that is done properly. Every Apollo collection comes with a waste transfer note, so your duty of care is documented and your waste disposal Nelson records are complete.
