A top floor flat with no lift is a different job from a bungalow with a drive, and a skip on a narrow street needs a council permit that a van does not. Our Pickering crews plan for the access before they set off, so the price and slot you get are the ones that happen.

Skips or vans for Pickering properties: the facts
Many Pickering customers come to us after realising a skip was not what they needed. A skip sits on your drive or the road for days, needs a permit from the local council if it goes on the highway, and you do all the filling yourself. Our man and van collections are simpler. We turn up in an agreed slot, load it all, sweep up and leave, charging only for the space your rubbish fills.
When the job is a sofa, a garden tidy, a loft or a few bags of builders’ waste, a van collection tends to be faster and often costs less overall. For builders and fitters, our construction waste disposal Pickering service takes rubble, plasterboard and strip out waste between trades without tying up the drive for a fortnight. If you are renovating for weeks, a skip might suit you, and we will tell you straight.
