Licensed collections six days a week for Wirksworth customers
Wirksworth
When people need rubbish gone quickly and want to know where it ends up, Apollo is the waste collection Wirksworth households and businesses turn to. Household clutter, green waste, unwanted furniture, office contents and building rubble are all collected from addresses across Wirksworth. The price is agreed in writing before anything goes in the van, every load goes to a licensed transfer station where around 95% is recycled or recovered, and you receive a waste transfer note for your records. The smallest load, a Mini Load, is from £65.
How a collection goes in Wirksworth depends as much on the property as on the rubbish. Shared driveways, steep steps and busy roads each change the plan, which is why a van often beats a skip that needs a permit. With crews in Wirksworth and the rest of Derbyshire throughout the week, we can quote accurately and arrive when we say we will.
What we clear

Man and van or skip for Wirksworth builders: an honest view
Many people in Wirksworth start by looking for a skip without asking whether a skip is the right fit. A skip sits on your drive or the road for days, needs a permit from the local council if it goes on the highway, and you do all the filling yourself. A man and van collection is different. We arrive inside an agreed window, load everything ourselves, sweep up and leave, and you pay only for the space your rubbish takes up.
Smaller jobs, like one sofa or a garden tidy, are almost always faster by van and often cheaper too. Fitters use our construction waste disposal Wirksworth service to clear plasterboard and strip outs as they go, without a skip. If your project will run for weeks, a skip may be better value, and we will be upfront about it.
