Insured, licensed collections for Portland residents
Portland
Apollo is the waste collection Portland customers recommend to neighbours: quick to book, fixed in price and licensed from start to finish. Whether it is a garage full of boxes, a garden clear out, an office move or rubble from a renovation, we collect it. The price is agreed in writing before anything goes in the van, every load goes to a licensed transfer station where around 95% is recycled or recovered, and you receive a waste transfer note for your records. Prices begin at £65 for a Mini Load.
Our crews know that collections around Portland vary a lot from one street to the next. Terraced streets with no off road parking, flats above shops and homes with long gardens all affect the job, which is why we ask where the rubbish actually is. A few details and a photo are enough for our Portland crews to give you a price and slot that hold.

Skip or collection for Portland renters: compared
People in Portland often book a skip out of habit rather than because it suits the job. Skips mean days of the drive or road being taken up, a council permit if on the highway, and doing the loading yourself. With a man and van, we turn up when agreed, carry and load everything, tidy up and go, and you pay for the space your rubbish takes.
When the job is a sofa, a garden tidy, a loft or a few bags of builders’ waste, a van collection tends to be faster and often costs less overall. Builders use our construction waste disposal Portland service to keep sites moving, with rubble and strip out waste collected between trades. Skips do have their place on long projects that produce waste for weeks, and we will say so if that fits your job.

What many people miss is that if your waste is found dumped and traced back to you, a fixed penalty of up to £600 can be issued to you even though you did not dump it yourself. Our waste transfer note on every collection means your duty of care is met and your waste disposal Portland paperwork is in order.
