Same day rubbish collection slots for York renters
York
Apollo is the waste collection York homeowners, landlords and site managers call when they want the rubbish gone today and proof of where it went. We clear everything from the odd bulky item to whole properties, including garden waste, office waste and builders’ rubble. The quote you approve is the price you pay, the waste goes to a licensed transfer station for sorting and recovery, and you keep a waste transfer note for your records. Prices start from £65 for a Mini Load.
Clearing a property in York is rarely just a question of how much rubbish there is. Whether it is a cellar, a loft, a garden or a top floor office, the access decides the time on site, and a van avoids the permit a road skip needs. Our regular work across York means the quote you get is realistic and the arrival window is one we can honour.
What we clear
One trip, one team and a price agreed up front. Every quote covers labour, loading, transport and licensed waste disposal York wide, so there is nothing to add on the day. Choose the service and we will check the load size and confirm the price before anything moves.

Skip or man and van for York businesses: made simple
Skips are popular in York, but they are not always the quickest or cheapest answer. A skip occupies the drive or the road for the hire period, may need a council permit, and relies on you to fill it. With a man and van, we arrive when agreed, do the lifting, leave the area swept, and charge only for the van space used.
For a single item, a loft, a garden or a few bags of rubble, a van collection is usually quicker and often costs less. If you are a builder or fitter, our construction waste disposal York service removes rubble and strip out waste between visits, with no skip to manage. A skip can still be the right choice for a project producing waste over several weeks, and we will tell you if so.

Why Apollo
A waste service is more than a van and two people. This is what Apollo brings to every York collection. There is nothing extra to arrange for your York collection.
Apollo is registered with the Environment Agency as an upper tier waste carrier. Checking the public register first takes moments. That is how we keep York jobs straightforward.
No hourly rates, no weight surcharges and no surprises. What you approve before loading is what you pay. We will confirm the details before the van leaves for York.
We are in York week in, week out. Access and parking are planned before we arrive. That is what makes a York collection go to plan.
Every load is sorted at a licensed transfer station. Good items are reused and the rest is sorted by material. It makes clearing a York property far easier.
Just point at what is going. Two person teams carry from anywhere, upstairs included, and do all the loading. It is one reason York keeps recommending us.
Across York, same day slots are available when we have space. Your price is fixed in advance. It all starts with a quick photo from York.
Fly tipping remains a problem in and around York, and councils do prosecute. What many people miss is that if your waste is found dumped and traced back to you, you could face a fixed penalty of up to £600 even though you did not dump it yourself. It is why cheap rubbish removal York wide should still mean licensed, documented and legal. Every Apollo collection comes with a waste transfer note, so your duty of care is documented and your waste disposal York records are complete.

Our rubbish removal York prices start at £65 for a Mini Load, roughly eight black bags or one large item. We price by the space used in the van, and that includes the crew, loading, transport and licensed disposal. We put the fixed price in writing before we start, and it stays the same unless you add more. It is how we work across York.
Yes, across most of York. We keep same day slots open six days a week, subject to availability. Call or send a photo early, and if we are full today we will offer the next free slot with a fixed price. With a same day rubbish collection York slot, the price is still fixed before we lift anything. We are glad to help anywhere in York.
For most household jobs, yes. Skip hire York costs include the hire period, any council permit for the road and your own time filling it. A van collection is priced on space alone, we do the loading, and there is nothing on your drive. For long jobs a skip can still be right, and we will let you know. That is why so many York customers book again.
Yes. Apollo is an Environment Agency registered upper tier waste carrier with fully insured teams. You are welcome to check the Environment Agency public register before booking. Each York job ends with a waste transfer note, your legal record that the waste went to an authorised carrier. Ask our York team if you are unsure.
Yes. Our furniture removal York service includes collections from any floor, with or without a lift, so a wardrobe in a third floor flat is no different to a bag by the front door. For bulky waste collection York wide, the price follows the space used, so a single item costs only what it takes up. Every York customer gets the same service.
Yes. Garden waste removal York jobs include branches, trimmings, grass, leaves, turf, fence panels and sheds, and soil and rubble too. We load straight from the garden so nothing comes through the house, and green waste goes for recovery rather than landfill wherever possible. We will always be upfront with York customers.
Yes. We clear offices, shops and commercial units throughout York, with out of hours visits so trading carries on. Office clearance York jobs cover desks, chairs, IT equipment and shop fittings, and we also provide the regular commercial waste collection York businesses rely on, with a waste transfer note for every load. That is the Apollo way in York.
